Ashanti Shares 4 Amazing Swimsuit Photos From the Beach

Publish date: 2024-06-24

Ashanti just shared a photo giving her followers all the fitspiration they need to head to the gym in 2024. In a recent social media post, the singer, rumored to be pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Nelly, shows off her incredible body in a bathing suit, dropping some major jaws. "Ms. Ashanti I just left the gym. This post just told me to go back," commented one of her followers. How does the singer approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

Ashanti made some major changes to her diet in 2019. "I cut out a lot of meat," she told People about a recent dietary change she made. "I think again, self-health and self-awareness are so important. All of that stuff is so important to maintaining your body, knowing what's in your food, the GMO's and the chemicals, and I'm super aware of this stuff."

Ashanti exercises a lot. "When I'm home in NYC, I have a trainer, Raheem. We do weight training, cardio, running. I'm kind of a tomboy and I'm very competitive so I never want him to beat me. Sometimes he has me work on mobility, other times endurance, and then we'll go for strength. I think it's important to mix it up and hit different parts of your body. We'll do the Stairmaster, lots of core work," she told Parade. "I have another trainer in L.A., Donamatrix, who I work with when I'm there. He's completely different than my trainer in New York. So I feel like I'm in a really good position to have the best of both worlds on either coast." She works out four to five days in a week.

Ashanti is "obsessed" with spinning. "I would try to do two classes in a day because I would sweat so much and I loved it!" she told Parents. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

Ashanti maintains that, "to have balance, you have to eat clean and you have to work out. However, "you have to allow yourself at least two cheat days so that it doesn't become too strict," she told People.

"I'm really into green juices," Ashanti told Parents. "I'm glad I got one today! I'm actually drinking one now. And I'll make a plant-based protein smoothie to snack on in between as well. I also like the No Cow bars. The raspberry one is the best."
