Jessa Duggar to Wed in November

It looks like there is another Duggar wedding on the horizon. The past few months in the Duggar household have been very exciting. There was the wedding of Jill and Derek, their pregnancy announcement and it was only a few weeks ago that Jessa Duggar announced that she and her boyfriend Ben Seewald had become engaged. They announced yesterday that their wedding is quickly approaching.

“We have most of our planning done. When you’re planning a wedding, you can make it complicated, or make it simple and we are trying to make ours simple. There are some things that have to be done right before the wedding, but for the most part, we’re ready,” said 19-year-old Seewald on Monday. It seems that the couple will exchange their vows, as well as their first kiss, in less than two months. The wedding date is set for November 1, and most fans of the show 19 Kids and Counting are expecting another fast pregnancy announcement following the ceremony.

Jessa, 21, is excited about the wedding to her new fiancé. “We have the bridal party picked and the colors are done. The bridesmaids dresses are selected. I picked out my wedding dress a couple of days ago. I went with the second dress I tried on – I love it,” she says of her role in planning the wedding. She’s the third daughter of 19 children, and she’s marrying a man who is the oldest of seven kids. Their engagement occurred on August 14, less than a month ago. The couple is currently only holding hands, saving their first kiss for their wedding day and taking one of Jessa’s many siblings with them on their dates.

“We don’t have trouble finding chaperones. If we’re going out to a restaurant, we make sure they get a special dessert and have a fun time, too. We take good care of them,” she says of her siblings.
