Here are some of our favourite acts:
We've spoken everything about Lizzo. See her if you haven't. She'll leave us floating after her show at Splendour, which has never had a positive headliner.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs withdrew from Splendour 2022 late, but their scheduled performance was cancelled. This game-changing New York trio's first return to Australia since the Big Day Out over a decade ago is so amazing.
IDLES' second Australian tour sold out massive venues. It's no surprise that these British titans of heavy rock and enormous feelings have returned so quickly, and we're delighted about the big vibrations they'll bring to this musical communion.
Splendour in the Grass 2023
Last year's Australian tour reaffirmed Arlo Parks' charm and brilliance onstage. That's impressive given her 2021 first album Collapsed In Sunbeams' brilliance. Her return to Splendour with new songs is even greater as her second album, My Soft Machine, will be released next month.
After last year's hugo, Loyle Carner's arresting third album, we became even bigger fans. His deeply personal poetry and elegant production stand out in London's crowded hip hop scene.
Sudan Archives is a master musician, composer, and artist. She's been an accomplished violinist since childhood, but her music is somewhere between R&B and hip hop, and she uses her immense musical talent to create engaging, unique soundscapes.
Locally, there's quality.
PNAU, Ball Park Music, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Telenova, Harvey Sutherland, RVG, and many others are on board.
