A teaser for The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, shows things get intense for the reality TV couple. It is their first joint interview since Joe was released from ICE and returned to his home country of Italy.

Andy Cohen conducted the sit down with Teres and Joe. The clip kicks off with him letting fans know the couple is setting the record straight. No topic is off-limits for RHONJ stars, who have agreed to speak their truth.

One of the hottest topics in the preview video is cheating and being faithful. Teresa bluntly states she doesn’t believe Joe was faithful to her while she was in prison for her 12-month stint.

“That’s why it made it OK for you to do the same with men,” Joe responds to her claims.

Fans will recall Teresa was spotted with a much younger man several times while Joe was in prison and detained in an ICE facility. Cohen then asks Joe if he believes Teresa was faithful to him. Joe tells the host he doesn’t feel his wife stayed true to him.

The clip certainly gives off the impression infidelity has plagued their marriage. However, there also appears to still be a deep love between Teresa and Joe. She begins crying when talking about how happy she is Joe is free.

“Those don’t seem like happy tears. This relationship kind of feels like you’re speaking about it in the past,” Cohen tells her.

It has been five years since the Giudice family’s lives were turned upside down after Teresa and Joe were convicted of mail wire and bankruptcy fraud. They have been living apart since March 2016 when Joe entered prison.
