UFC star Paddy Pimblett roasts Conor McGregors training partner Dillon Danis following $75,000 gr
Paddy Pimblett has let rip at Conor McGregor’s training partner, Dillon Danis, after he proposed they partake in a high-stakes grappling match.
Fight fans will remember Danis as the man who Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped the Octagon to attack after beating ‘Notorious’ at UFC 229, subsequently starting a riot.
‘El Jefe’ was once a highly touted Bellator MMA prospect but he has just two fights on his record and hasn’t fought since 2019 after undergoing multiple knee surgeries that have unfortunately meant his career has come to a standstill.
The 28-year-old has attempted to stay relevant during his time away from the sport by calling out various fighters and it appears Pimblett is his latest target.
“Hey Paddy Pimblett we both put 75k each in escrow and do a grappling match, winner takes all, you in?,” Danis wrote on social media.
‘The Baddy’ brutally refused the proposition as he has no interest in grappling with the submission specialist who he doesn’t believe has that type of money to bet with.
“Why you getting Conor to send you pictures of his money you silly sausage, stop embarrassing yourself! Why would I grapple with you? I’ll punch your f****** head in for you if I see you ya soft c***,” Pimblett replied.

The Scouser has quickly become one of the biggest names on the UFC roster after picking up first-round stoppage victories and a legion of new fans in his first two fights.
Pimblett recently signed a lucrative new deal with the UFC after shocking fans by revealing his base pay for his first two fights with the promotion was just £9,000.
While things are looking up for the lifelong Liverpool fan, the same can’t be said about the man who has taken to social media to call him out.
During his time away from the gym Danis has struggled to stay out of trouble and has taken some monumental public losses in the last year.
In September 2021, Danis was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at a bar in New Jersey.
A bad night got worse for Danis when footage of his arrest, which showed him being choked out by a security guard, began to circulate online.
Two months later, it was reported that Danis was kicked out of UFC 268 after being slapped by MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz, who works with the likes of Khabib, Kamaru Usman, Henry Cejudo and Justin Gaethje.
It’s currently unclear when or if Danis will make his MMA comeback.
