UFC: UFC fighter Stephan Bonnar and his family left without a home
Mixed martial arts fighter Stephan Patrick Bonnar, who was once runner-up on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, could do little to try to put out a fire that broke out in his home built in Nevada.
In the ashes
Without yet being able to define the causes that caused the property to burn in the midst of an atrocious fire, the only thing the gladiator's family could do when they realized that the flames spread to all corners of the property was to call the fire department and try to get to safety.
Henderson Fire Department elements went to the site to try to extinguish the fire, but the fire was too extensive and it took them a couple of hours to put it out and when they finally accomplished their mission, everything was already consumed.
It was reported that upon arrival the rescue workers managed to rescue two adults, a child and four dogs, who after being evaluated by paramedics were reunited with the rest of their family members.
Through social networks, Andrea Bonnar, wife of the martial arts gladiator shared the news on the Facebook page of her business ... saying, "I'm just jumping in to let you know that our house burned down today and we lost everything."
Empty-handed
Now to Stephan Patrick Bonnar only remains to know the opinion of the authorities to determine what happened and see if through the property insurance he manages to recover part of what was lost.
Last week, the 44-year-old athlete from Munster, Indiana, shared a video with his social media followers showing him standing next to a cage before a show where he was scheduled to work.
